CBob Sunday: Winter Squatch Serenade

Forest Moon

A poem by CBob

They walk, paw-in-paw
Through the dark winter forest.

The fallen twigs crackle
Beneath their every step.

The wintery cool air,
Fills deep their nostrils and lungs.

The frozen tree shapes,
Surround them from all sides,
Allowing only splashes
Of crisp moonlight to light the path.

For another winter,
They roam the wilderness.
